Thai Massage
in Apex, NC
Fully clothed.
Personalized to your comfort.
No flexibility required.
Thai massage is a little different from the massage you may be used to. Instead of lying under a sheet on a traditional massage table, you'll stay fully clothed while your therapist uses comfortable assisted stretches, gentle movement, compression and targeted pressure to help your body relax and move more freely.
At Airmeith, Thai massage isn't about seeing how far you can stretch. Every movement is adjusted to your body, your natural range of motion and your comfort level. We check in along the way, and you never need to be especially flexible, athletic or experienced with yoga to enjoy it.
Thai Mat Massage
Our Thai Mat Massage is performed on a comfortable floor mat, which gives your therapist room to move your body through stretches and positions that aren't as practical on a massage table.
Think of it less as someone trying to stretch you as far as you can go and more as someone helping your body move while you get to relax. Your therapist does the work while you communicate what feels good, what doesn't, and how much movement feels right for you.
Thai Mat Massage is available in
60- and 90-minute sessions.
Wear comfortable, flexible clothing that allows you to move easily.
Thai Reflexology
Focused care for the legs and feet.
Want to experience Thai techniques without a full-body mat session?
Thai Reflexology focuses entirely on the lower legs and feet using pressure techniques, compression and movement to create a deeply relaxing, focused treatment.
It's a great choice if you're on your feet all day, your feet and lower legs need some attention, or you simply prefer a session focused on one area rather than the whole body.
New to Thai Massage? You're Not Alone.
Do I need to be flexible?
Not at all. Thai massage meets your body where it is.
You aren't expected to touch your toes, do yoga or move into positions that don't feel comfortable.
Am I going to be stretched really far?
No. If you've heard stories about intense Thai massages while traveling—or watched videos that make Thai massage look a little intimidating—that doesn't mean your session has to feel that way. At Airmeith, stretches and movements stay within your comfortable range, and your therapist checks in with you throughout the session.
Do I keep my clothes on?
Yes. Thai Mat Massage is fully clothed.
Wear something comfortable and flexible, similar to what you might wear for a walk, stretching or a casual workout.
Is Thai massage painful?
It shouldn't be. Pressure and movement can be adjusted just like they can during any other Airmeith massage.
Tell us what feels good and what doesn't—we want your massage to work for your body.
Why is Thai massage done on the floor?
The mat gives your therapist more room and stability for assisted movement, stretching and compression.
You'll be on a thick padded mat, not directly on the floor.
Should I book 60 or 90 minutes?
Either works, but 90 minutes gives your therapist more time for a slower, more complete full-body session. If you're trying Thai massage for the first time, you don't have to start with 90—choose the amount of time that feels comfortable to you.
What if I'm pregnant?
Please book Prenatal Massage instead.
This ensures you're scheduled with a therapist trained in prenatal care and that your massage is planned appropriately for pregnancy.
